Geometry-chipbreaker HOFNEX grade; the full designation is retained when no separate chipbreaker is listed.

Chipbreaker and grade

The chipbreaker identifies chip-control geometry; the grade identifies the material/coating configuration. Select by the listed application.

Specification selection

Check dimensions, workpiece material and machining stage. For threading, also check thread form, pitch and internal/external use.
