This notice explains how we handle information when you ask HOFNEX about cutting tools, request free trial samples or contact us through this website.

1. Information you provide

Your name, email address and requirements are required when you send an inquiry. Company, phone number, customer type and industry are optional. We do not ask for a delivery address in the initial form. For samples, we first discuss the tool specification, machining conditions and trial arrangements, then confirm shipping details with you.

Please share only information relevant to your inquiry. Do not include passwords, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information.

2. Inquiry context and referral information

We record an inquiry reference, submission time, page language and source page, as well as any product reference or machining requirements carried over from a product or solutions page. If your link includes referral tags, we record them to understand which activity brought you to the website.

Referral tags are kept for the current browsing session. We do not store the name, email address or inquiry text you enter in browser storage. Visiting the website does not automatically match you to a prospecting-list record.

3. How we use your information

We use it to respond to your inquiry, check tool specifications and cutting conditions, discuss suitable alternatives, arrange samples and purchases, follow up on trial feedback, and keep necessary business correspondence. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

4. Storage, access and service providers

Inquiries are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a database provided by Cloudflare. Only authorised business and maintenance staff can view or export them. There is no public customer directory, and we do not sell your contact details.

Cloudflare provides hosting, storage and security checks. Technical processing may take place in more than one country. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Turnstile privacy notice for information about its processing.

5. Security checks

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam. This service may process network-address, browser or device information. Our own submission rate limits use short-lived hashed identifiers, rather than retaining raw network addresses. Repeat submissions of the same inquiry are deduplicated by inquiry reference.

6. Retention

We retain information as needed to handle inquiries, arrange trials, follow up on business and keep necessary business records. We do not promise permanent retention. You may ask us to delete inquiry information that is no longer needed. If a record relates to an order in progress or another business matter that requires retention, we will explain how we can handle your request.

7. Access, correction, deletion and contact

Contact the HOFNEX representative handling your inquiry, or use the link below to tell us which information you would like to access, correct or delete. Include the email address used for the original inquiry. We will verify your identity before acting on the request.
